Caption from Oceanus magazine, Vol. 53, No. 2, pg. 18:
One tank provides oxygen to Hanny Rivera while the other one between her legs provides air to power a drill to extract a core of a coral skeleton. Coral skeletons grow in bands that, like tree rings, reveal past conditions in the corals and in the ocean around them.
