The research team was at sea last October to recover three Coastal Profiler Mooring anchors from the Pioneer Array, a state-of-the-art ocean observatory about 100 miles off the coast of Massachusetts. The observatory, funded by the National Science Foundation, was built and is operated by WHOI.
