Caption from Oceanus magazine, Vol. 52, No. 1, pg. 8:
Scientists in the Deep Rover 2 submersible explore a seamount about 500 feet deep near Santiago Island. Seamounts act as oases for deep sea life, providing habitat for animals at the bottom of the food chain that attract fish, sea turtles, and sharks.
