WCVB Boston's newsmagazine, Chronicle, came to WHOI to record an episode of the program.
Image Of the Day caption:
WHOI engineer and SharkCam co-developer Amy Kukulya (blue jacket) has not only helped bring sharks into living rooms since 2012 on The Discovery Channel's Shark Week, but she remains a tireless advocate of the technology that has helped reveal new details in recent years about the behavior of sharks in their natural environement. Today, Kukulya will appear before the U.S. Senate Committee on Commerce, Science and Transportation to speak about sharks and the technical innovations like SharkCam that are playing an increasing role in protecting the ocean's top predator.
