Each September WHOI hosts a group science journalists from around the world in the Ocean Science Journalism (OSJ) Fellowship Program for a week of experience and information about the breadth and multi-disciplinary nature of modern ocean science. On the WHOI dock, engineer Mike Jakuba (back to camera) showed the 2015 OSJ fellows a unique robotic vehicle created at WHOIthe Nereid Under Ice (NUI)while engineers Casey Machado and Molly Curran (extreme right) prepared the vehicle for dockside tests.
