BIOS POGO fellow Rene Ayala takes a splash during OC449-10. There were rough seas for the entire cruise, but we managed to get everything done for the BIOS cruise.

Rene Ayala of the Bermuda Institute of Oceanographic Science takes a splash while tending to a rosette sampler aboard the R/V Oceanus during a December 2008 cruise. The research was part of the Bermuda Atlantic Time Series (BATS) study ? an ongoing, collaborative research effort examining biogeochemical cycles in the Sargasso Sea.
