Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution (WHOI) Ocean Science Exhibit Center Manager Kathy Patterson chats with participants of the Cambridge Science Festival about ocean science. The Festival is sponsored by the MIT Museum and had over 60 science organizations participate in the "kick off" event that reaches out to K-12 students, the general public, and the science community, to excite and ignite curiosity. WHOI has had a long term partnership with MIT beginning with the Joint Program that was founded in 1960.
