Mike Singleton, third mate on WHOI's newest research vessel, R/V Neil Armstrong reviewed charts of the Panama Canal prior to passing from the Pacific to the Caribbean in December as part of the ship's inaugural voyage. Neil Armstrong will arrive at its new home in Woods Hole early this spring to continue its preparations to support science at sea. Now members of the public have a chance to win a trip to Woods Hole to be a part of the welcoming celebration by participating in one of the Institution's #GetOnBoard contests.
