Image of The Day caption:
New MIT/WHOI Joint Program students Heather Beem (top) and Jessica Fitzsimmons (bottom) climb the rigging of the educational sailing ship Corwith Cramer, with direction from ships' mate (and sometime captain) Binh Le. Each summer, the Joint Program partners with the Sea Education Association to offer new grad students a chance to learn fundamental sea-going skills and oceanographic sampling, while bonding with their new classmates.
