Feather duster worms (Sabellidae) are sedentary animals that use ornate, feathery tentacles to sieve planktonic prey out of the water. This image, magnified about 15X, shows the feeding tentacles of a specimen observed in the Caribbean Sea. The tentacles have the appearance of wheat blowing in the wind.
