Every year on June 8, we celebrate World Oceans Day, a day to reflect on the importance of the global ocean in daily life and in the life of our planet. The ocean covers more than two-thirds of the face of the planet, is responsible for half the oxygen we breathe, regulates global climate, and provides us with food, energy and natural resources. So in reality, every day is World Oceans Day.
