Knorr departs Woods Hole, cruise KN210-01.
Image Of the Day caption:
On Tuesday, January 15, R/V Knorr left Cape Cod for a 26-day transit to Cape Town, South Africa. From there, it will conduct science missions out of Cape Town; Montevideo, Uruguay; and Bridgetown, Barbados before returning to Woods Hole in June. To reduce logistics, the ship left loaded with equipment, food, and supplies to see it through all three missions (with transits in between).
