Chair Mark Begich, U.S. Senate Subcommittee on Oceans, Atmosphere, Fisheries, and Coast Guard hosts a hearing on Tuesday, June 11, 2013 at 2:30 p.m. titled, Deep Sea Challenge: Innovative Partnerships in Ocean Observation. This hearing will examine ways to expand and leverage public and private partnerships for ocean science and observation.
Ed Page is Executive Director, Alaska Marine Exchange, and Jan Newton is Sr. Principle Oceanographer, Applied Physics Laboratory, University of Washington.
