WHOI Associate David Babin and WHOI friend Judy Stetson learn about a project that engages citizen scientists in Buzzards Bay at the annual Associates Afternoon of Science in July. Babin has been a member of the program, which honors supporters who give $100 or more annually, for more than a decade. Each year, the Institution welcomes Associates to Woods Hole to learn more about ocean science and engineering. This years Afternoon of Science focused on studies aimed at better understanding changes in the waters off Cape Cod.
