Camper is lowered to the seafloor by the ship's winch via a cable and A-frame. "The Camper is a huge vehicle," John Kemp said, "but the thing about working in the ice is that you have a stable platform. You don't need to worry so much about the motion of the vessel, as we usually do. This is like working in your back yard."
