Julie Huber elected to the American Academy of Microbiology.
In February, Julie Huber, a senior scientist in WHOI’s Marine Chemistry & Geochemistry department, was elected as a fellow of the American Academy of Microbiology Class of 2025. Fellows are an honorific leadership group within the American Society for Microbiology (ASM). They are elected annually through a highly selective peer-review process, based on their records of scientific achievement and original contributions that have advanced microbiology.
