Oyster Pond Environmental Trust (OPET) held a press conference at Oyster Pond to announce a land acquisition that included MBL and WHOI properties. After the press conference and luncheon, WHOI hosted a tour of the dock facilities with the OPET people and state officials involved with the land acquisition.
Matthew Beaton is the secretary of the MA office of Energy and Environmental Affairs.
