Beaufort Gyre Freshwater Experiment. Scientists at an Arctic ice camp rely on a helicopter to shuttle mooring gear from a nearby icebreaking vessel. During the expedition researchers installed instruments on sea ice that monitor ocean, ice, and atmospheric conditions to reveal clues about Earth's climate changes.
