Geology and Geophysics.
Adam Sarafian is an easygoing and eager son of an eccentric electrical engineer and an energetic entrepreneur. He is an avid former pole-vaulter who studies the origin of water, but he is terrified of heights and doesn't enjoy being wet. Like most twenty-somethings, he met his exceptional wife (who is also a Joint Program student) at a short course on secondary ion mass spectrometry. He is looking forward to his next challenge, due to arrive on his 30th birthday in March 2016. Sarafian plans to approach fatherhood with the same rigor and determination as in his scientific endeavors.
