Shortly before the expedition started, funding was approved to install a high-definition camera system on another new deep-sea vehicle called Camper. The vehicle had already been shipped to Svalbard. The sophisticated camera system arrived separately and had to be affixed to Camper. That required a special bracket that could not be purchased off the shelf, especially in Svalbard. So Rob Reves-Sohn (left) discussed ways to solve the problem with Bertil Sjolund, the fitter on Oden, who constructed a singular camera bracket in the icebreaker's machine shop.
