Bluefin driftfish (Psenes pellucidus)
Bluefin driftfish stay in surface waters when they are young, often living near jellyfish and gelatinous stinging siphonophores for protection from predators. As larger adults, bluefin driftfish venture down into the deeper waters of the twilight zone to find food and avoid predation.
