A holographic new view WHOI biologist Peter Wiebe (right) and engineering assistant Troy Petitt test the Deep-See’s new holographic camera system in the lab before the vehicle’s first at-sea deployment. Wiebe examines an image taken by the camera of a tiny crustacean called a copepod, which is only a few millimeters long.
