Engineering assistant Tom Lanagan and engineer Dan Duffany test a new launcher for the Archerfish––a mine neutralizing remotely operated vehicle (ROV) used to eliminate subsurface mines with a shape charge––at the tank in WHOI's Coastal Research Lab. The launcher (shown with the ROV docked inside) is part of the Buoy-based Neutralization System developed for the Naval Surface Warfare Center in Panama City, Florida.
