Image of the Day caption:
Physical Oceangrapher Bob Weller weaves his way through a set of buoys on the ship's fantail after they were retrieved from the waters around Martha's Vineyard. The buoys were used in the Coupled Boundary Layers Air-Sea Transfer (CBLAST-LOW) experiment. Weller and colleagues made the short working cruise on the fishing vessel Nobska, which is owned by Matt Stommel, son of the famed oceanographer Henry Stommel.
