Image of The Day caption:
WHOI senior engineering assistant Brian Guest (right) and engineer Jeff Sherman of the Scripps Institution of Oceanography work with a Spray glider in a Quissett Campus lab in April 2004. Guest and Sherman calibrated the conductivity and temperature sensors on the glider before sending out for work in the North Atlantic. The Spray system became the first glider to cross the Gulf Stream unassisted.
