Shipboard science services technician Ken Feldman (left) and ordinary seaman Patrick Neumann work to deploy a sea anchor as part of the process of "recovering" Alvin (bringing it back onto the ship). R/V Atlantis Cruise AT15-14, Chief Scientist: Lauren Mullineaux.
November 11, 2006 to January 5, 2007
The two cruises in 2006 include a tracer release (first cruise) and survey (second cruise). The survey should be initiated roughly 40 days after release, so the 2 cruises need a 2-3 week separation between them.
