Nichole is a guest student.
Peter is from Colorado College and his WHOI sponsor is Jeff Donnelly.
Image of The Day caption:
Students Nicole Trenhom (in cap) and Zion Klos used ground-penetrating radar this summer in a Cape Cod kettle pond to look for signs of former shorelines deposited during ancient droughts. They worked with WHOI geologist Jeff Donnelly, who studies these types of "natural archives" to reconstruct past environmental conditions.
